From excavation and concrete cutting to window supply and window well installation — our crew does every step in-house. No subcontractors. No scheduling gaps. One set price from start to finish.
Our full installation package covers every step of the job. You don't need to hire an excavator, a concrete cutter, and a window company separately — we handle it all.
We excavate the exterior soil to the required depth and haul away all excess dirt. The area is left clean and ready for the concrete cut. No mess left behind for you to deal with.
Diamond cutting equipment opens your foundation wall to exact rough opening dimensions. We cut with precision — no overcutting to the corners, clean edges that frame properly. This is where our concrete cutting background shows.
We supply and install a White Vinyl LOW-E Argon Gas window in your choice of three egress-compliant styles — casement, sliding, or hopper. Every window is set in 2"×6" pressure-treated (PT) bucking secured directly to the concrete foundation, membrane tar wrap applied to the assembly, and sealed with 100% silicone throughout. Vinyl brickmould with a reverse drip cap (metal membrane between the plastic wrap and brickmould) ensures water is directed away from the wall assembly. The result is a permanently weather-tight installation built to Alberta Building Code, ready for inspection.
A galvanized steel window well is installed against the foundation, backfilled with drainage stone, and secured. Proper drainage is built in from the start — no pooling, no moisture problems.

Optional Add-Ons
Here's exactly what happens from your first call to a finished, code-compliant egress window.
Send us your site address, window location, and a few photos of the interior and exterior. We assess via Google Maps and our Calgary experience — most quotes come back same business day. You can also meet us in person on site.
A building permit from the City of Calgary is required for all new egress window installations. We offer permit obtaining as an optional add-on service — we handle the application and paperwork so you don't have to. Learn about permits →
Before any digging, we complete Alberta One-Call (utility locates) — a required step to identify underground utilities in the excavation area. Free to request, takes 2–3 business days. Once clear, our crew excavates to the required depth, removes all excess dirt, and exposes the foundation wall ready for cutting. We use the one-third rule for backfill: you can keep up to one-third of excavated soil on site; the rest is hauled away.
We cut the foundation opening using diamond cutting equipment. Precise dimensions, no overcutting to the corners. The opening is clean and ready for framing and installation.
Your egress window is installed, leveled, shimmed, and fully sealed. Available in three egress-compliant styles — casement, sliding, or hopper. We match the window to your opening and preference.
The galvanized window well is installed against the foundation, drainage stone is placed, and the area is backfilled and cleaned. Final walkthrough, and you're done — with a 2-year workmanship warranty covering everything we touched.
A basement bedroom with a 4-inch strip of window at the ceiling is not code-compliant and not safe. Here's the before and after.
Interior casement finishing is available as an add-on — white melamine framing and trim around the interior opening for a clean, move-in-ready result. Here's what our interior finishing looks like.
There are other companies in Calgary that will cut your egress window. Here's what makes the difference.
We're a concrete cutting company that does egress windows — not a window company that also cuts concrete. Diamond blade precision, no overcutting to corners. The quality of the cut affects everything that follows.
Every step — excavation, cutting, window install, well install — is handled by our crew. No third-party excavators, no separate window companies. One schedule, one invoice, no gaps.
We quote a set price upfront. No "we'll figure it out as we go" pricing. You know the number before we start, and that's the number on your invoice.
Every installation is built to Alberta Building Code standards. We know the measurements — 0.35 m² minimum opening, 380 mm minimum dimension, 1.5 m max sill height. Your window passes inspection first time.
We install through Calgary winters. Frozen ground, cold temperatures — we're equipped and experienced for it. No seasonal wait. More on winter installs →
Two years on all our workmanship. If something we installed causes a problem, we come back and fix it. The window manufacturer's warranty covers the window itself on top of that.
Most crews slow down or stop taking egress window jobs once the ground freezes. We don't. Since 2015 we've been running year-round in Calgary — through frozen soil, early November snowfalls, and everything in between.
Winter installations require more effort. Frozen soil is harder to excavate and cold-weather concrete cutting requires adjusted technique. Our crew has the experience and the equipment to handle it.
What stops us: active blizzard conditions or extreme Arctic events where outdoor work becomes unsafe. Everything else, we push through.
Want your basement bedroom legal before spring? Start the permit and quote process now — winter is actually our quieter season and scheduling is easier.
Most single-window installations are completed in one day. Two or three windows may take two days depending on access, soil conditions, and foundation type. We give you a realistic timeline with your quote.
No. Excavation is included in our package. We handle it ourselves — no subcontractors. You deal with one company for the entire project.
We supply White Vinyl LOW-E Argon Gas windows in three egress-compliant styles. Casement windows are generally the best choice as the entire sash opens. Sliding windows are a good alternative for tighter spaces. We'll recommend the right style for your opening and local code requirements. Compare window types →
Yes. The City of Calgary requires a building permit for all new egress window installations. Permit fees start at approximately $333.84. We offer permit obtaining as an optional add-on — we handle the application for you. Full permit guide →
Your site address, the location of the window (which room, which exterior wall), your email for the written quote, and photos of the interior and exterior of the window location. We assess via Google Maps for access and soil conditions. Alternatively, we can meet in person on site.
Yes — we're year-round. Winter installs are more demanding due to frozen ground but we're equipped and experienced for Calgary conditions. Only active blizzard conditions or extreme Arctic events pause our schedule.
Yes. Triple pane glass is available as an upgrade on all our egress window styles. It's also required if you're applying for the Canada Greener Homes Grant. Ask about the upgrade when you request your quote — pricing varies by window style and size.
Yes — interior casement finishing is available as an optional add-on. This includes white melamine framing and trim around the interior of the window opening for a clean, finished look. Priced per window based on the scope of finish required. Ask about it with your quote.
Yes. If you want to handle the exterior excavation yourself, we can discuss a DIY excavation adjustment on your quote. There are specific requirements — the hole needs to be the right depth and dimensions, and note that roughly one-third of excavated soil can remain on site for backfill, the rest needs to go somewhere. We'll walk you through what's needed when we quote your project.
Send photos and your address — we'll have a set-price quote back to you same business day.
